Magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is a technique for imaging vascular anatomy and pathology that does not use ionizing radiation. MRA is performed using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, and vascular images may be generated either with or without intravenous contrast agents, depending on the clinical application.
