Good news! Triple-S Salud launched an innovative platform called Triple-S en casa that will allow to order, manage, pay and schedule the delivery of prescriptions with an easy-to-use mobile application. The application is available for iPhone and Android users.

The Triple-S en casa delivery service is available to members of Triple-S Salud plans, which also have pharmacy coverage, and Triple-S Advantage.  This service is not designed for Vital beneficiaries (Medicaid).

Medications can be delivered directly to the patient’s home, office, or any preferred address. The service area includes all of Puerto Rico, except Vieques and Culebra. The company is currently working to expand their services to the island municipalities.

We have made adjustments for the benefit of our members during the emergency; among them:

  • Vieques and Culebra: During the emergency, members may call to receive delivery service. The toll-free number 1-888-525-4842.
  • Controlled medications: Members can call the toll-free number 1-888-525-4842 to schedule delivery of controlled medications.

Digital prescription processing

Through the Triple-S en casa mobile app, electronic prescriptions sent by the doctor will be processed, as well as paper prescriptions sent by users through the platform. Once the prescription is received, the application registers it and issues the authorization process. When authorized, the user receives a notification and the medication will appear in the shopping cart. Once there, the user chooses the medicine and pays for the order. In the next screen, you will choose the date, time and place of delivery. The user will also be able to manage the prescriptions of their plan dependents under the age of 18, all from the comfort of their home or wherever they are.

This mobile application is already available in the App Store for iPhone and in Google Play for Android.

  • 1. What is Triple-S en casa?

    Triple-S en casa is a prescription drug delivery service exclusive for Triple-S members. For your convenience, you can choose to receive your medications directly at your home, office or the address of your choice. Our delivery area covers all Puerto Rico, except Vieques and Culebra. We are currently working to expand our service area.

  • 2. How do I register?

    You can sign up through our Triple-S en casa mobile app or by calling our customer service team at the toll-free number 1-888-525-4842. By registering over the phone, our customer service representatives will be happy to create an account for you. In any case, you must download our Triple-S en casa mobile app and complete your profile in order to place orders and schedule deliveries.

  • 3. Does someone need to be present to receive the delivery?

    Yes. You can ask a relative, friend, doorman, or colleague to receive your medications. The courier cannot leave your package in a mailbox or at the entrance of your house. The person receiving your delivery must sign for your receipt and show a government-issued ID. If these requirements are not met, your medications cannot be delivered to you.

  • 4. When will my delivery arrive?

    It depends on when you place your order:

  • 5. Are all prescriptions eligible for delivery?

    No. We supply most prescription maintenance medications, as well as most refrigerated medications. However, we do not deliver specialized medications. At the moment, we also do not deliver controlled substances.

  • 6. Can I transfer a prescription from another pharmacy?

    Due to the current Puerto Rico Pharmacy Law, we cannot transfer your prescription. You will need to get a new prescription to use our service.
